‘Game of Thrones’ Cast Plays Game of ‘Sword or Metal Band Name’ for Charity (Video)

Cast plays game to help raise money for International Rescue Committee

The “Game of Thrones” cast is having a little fun in the name of charity.

To help promote their efforts to raise money for the International Rescue Committee, the cast played a game called Sword or Metal Band. The rules were simple: Guess whether a name was the name of a sword from the show or an 80’s metal band.

It turns out Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) is quite the metal head, because she manages to get just about every one of the names right. Other members of the cast, like Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), not so much.

The cast then reminds viewers to donate as little as $10 on Omaze.com/GoT for the chance to join them at the “Game Of Thrones” Season 6 premiere and after-party in Los Angeles. Entries are open until April 5.

“Game of Thrones” Season 6 returns on April 24 on HBO.
