Fox has named Gary Ehrlich president and general manager for the Fox Studio lot in Los Angeles.

Ehrlich will be in charge of all studio operations, including production services, post-production services, planning, design & development, health & safety, facilities, food services, and security functions. Ehrlich spent three decades with Fox, most recently as executive vice president at Fox Sports, where he oversaw Fox’s ownership interests in professional teams and venues, including Dodger Stadium and Staples Center.

Ehrlich re-joined Fox from Live Nation, where he oversaw the company’s owned and operated venues.

“I am delighted to welcome Gary back to the Fox family,” said Michael Biard, president of Operations and Distribution. “His deep understanding of our business, exceptional leadership skills, and vision for our iconic lot uniquely position him to assume this role at this exciting time for Fox Corporation.”

Fox kept ownership of its lot, which is based in the Century City area of Los Angeles, following the $71 billion sale of its film and TV assets to Disney, which was completed in March. As part of the deal, Fox licensed out use of its lot to Disney. In his prior role inside Fox Studio Operations, Ehrlich was instrumental in the creation of the Fox Studio Master Plan Development agreement with the City of Los Angeles to enable the development of the lot into its present form.
