‘Glee’s’ Dianna Agron Drinks, Cries and Torches Chris Messina’s Stuff in Sam Smith’s ‘I’m Not the Only One’ Video

Agron plays a scorned bride whose husband is the cause of and cure for her heartache in British singer-songwriter’s new video

Infidelity is an ugly, wretched subject, but at least Sam Smith has given it a beautiful soundtrack.

The 22-year-old British singer-songwriter released a video for his new single “I’m Not the Only One” Friday, which features “Glee’s” Dianna Agron as a scorned bride and “The Mindy Project’s” Chris Messina as the cause of and cure for her heartache.

“You say I’m crazy,” Smith sings while Agron’s character pieces together her husband’s indiscretions. “‘Cause you don’t think I know what you’ve done. But when you call me baby, I know I’m not the only one.”

Agron proceeds to uncork a bottle of white wine in the middle of her neighborhood liquor store, drink away her problems, and then eventually set fire to Messina’s possessions.

For reasons never explained, she welcomes him back into her home at the end of the Luke Monaghan-directed video. Maybe her soul has been assuaged by Smith’s sweet crooning?

“I’m Not the Only One” is the fourth single from Smith’s first studio album, “In the Lonely Hour,” which has sold over 1.3 million copies.
