‘Goodwin Games’ to Premiere in May, Series Star Says

Originally intended as a midseason entry, "The Goodwin Games" will premiere May 20, according to Scott Foley

"The Goodwin Games" will finally get its premiere date in May.  At least, according to series star Scott Foley it will.

"Felicity" alum Foley, who plays Henry Goodwin on the series, tweeted the news on Wednesday, writing, "'The Goodwin Games' has an airdate! 5/20 at 8:30 p.m."

Foley went on to note that the series will air for seven consecutive weeks.

A spokeswoman for Fox did not confirm the premiere date to TheWrap. The network will likely announce dates for its series finales and summer premieres this week.

The series, about a father who leaves his fortune to his three children only if they agree to his terms, received a series order in May 2012, and was initially intended to join the network's Tuesday comedy lineup midseason. At the Television Critics Association winter press tour in January, Fox entertainment chief Kevin Reilly said that the network was holding off on airing the show while its current roster of comedies try to find an audience.

Becki Newton, Jake Lacy, Melissa Tang and Felisha Terrell also star in the series.
