“Grey’s Anatomy” veteran Sara Ramirez is biting the hand that fed her, tearing into her former network ABC over a joke about bisexuality on its comedy “The Real O’Neals.”

Ramirez, who played Dr. Calliope Torres on the ABC drama and came out as bisexual in October, blasted the network via Twitter, writing, “And as someone who worked 4 them 4 10 years+, am truly disheartened & disappointed quite frankly.I will invest my brand where I’m respected.”

Ramirez also encouraged her followers to sign an online petition that indicated the ABC show included a joke in its latest episode which featured the character Kenny (Noah Galvin) uttering, “Oh, God. Here we go. Webbed toes? Money problems? Or worse… bisexual?!”

The actress also implored the network and the series to promote “accurate positive reflections” of queer and bisexual youth.

“Dear @ABCNetwork @TheRealONeals :own it,address it,clarify it,empower our #Queer #Bisexual youth & community w/accurate positive reflections,” Ramirez wrote.

“The Real O’Neals,” which premiered last year and is based on an idea by “Savage Love” columnist Dan Savage, who serves as an executive producer on the series, centers around an Irish-American family in Chicago with a gay son, Kenny.
