Hotel Maids Chant at DSK: ‘Shame on You!’

Strauss-Kahn pleads not guilty

Dominique Strauss-Kahn pleaded not guilty to charges that he sexually assaulted a hotel maid at an arraignment where he was greeted by uniformed hotel maids chanting "Shame on you!"

The hotel workers greeted the former head of the International Monetary Fund as he arrived at the Manhattan Criminal Court building.

CNN ran footage of the hotel workers chanting as Strauss-Kahn entered for the arraignment. Strauss-Kahn's attorney has signaled that he will argue whatever happened at the Sofitel New York was consensual.

"Once the evidence is reviewed it will be clear that there was no element of forcible compulsion whatsoever, any evidence to the contrary is simply not credible,” the New York Times quoted attorney Benjamin Brafman as saying.
