Iggy Azalea is using Twitter to keep her fans up to date with her most personal of problems, and explained in a series of tweets on Thursday why she decided to end her engagement to Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young.
“I broke up with Nick because I found out he had brought other women into our home while I was away and caught them on the security footage,” she tweeted.
“This is just like a second shot to the chest,” she added. “And I feel like I don’t even know who the hell it is I’ve been loving all this time.”
She ended her series of tweets with, “People in this world really are f—ed up.”
In March, Los Angeles Lakers player D’Angelo Russell recorded a video of his teammate, Young, appearing to talk about being with women other than his fiancée. The video, allegedly shot months ago, was leaked to celebrity gossip site Fameolous. At one point, Russell asked Young about a 19-year-old girl (Young is 30) and Amber Rose, to which Young responded, “No, she knows my girl.”
Although the couple had tried to make it work after the scandal, Azalea and Young broke up earlier this month.
The “Fancy” singer’s confessions comes in the midst of rumors that Young got his ex-girlfriend Keonna Green pregnant. According to E! News, she is the mother of Nick’s first child.
Young’s reps have not yet returned TheWrap’s request for comment.
