The Rich Ross executive shakeup continues.
After a week of corporate suite musical chairs, another longtime Disney veteran has been given his walking papers. Anthony Marcoly, president of international theatrical distribution, is leaving the studio after two decades.
As TheWrap reported Thursday, Chuck Viane, domestic distribution president will now also oversee international sales and distribution in over 70 countries following Marcoly’s departure.
Marcoly joined the company in 1992, becoming the finance director for what was then known as Buena Vista International (BVI). He later became headed the sales organisation at BVI and the company’s acquisitions business. He played a key role in the international roll out of such films as "Pirates of the Carribbean 2," "The Chronicles of Narnia," and "Enchanted."
