James Woods doesn’t want his MTV — and he doesn’t think you should, either, after a personality from the network made light of Alabama senator and attorney-general nominee Jeff Sessions’ “Asian baby.”

In a tweet published this week, MTV reporter Ira Madison III mocked a photo of Sessions holding a young child, writing, “Sessions, sir, kindly return this Asian baby to the Toys ‘R’ Us you stole her from.”

While the tweet has since been deleted, the outrage has only increased, with Woods tweeting Tuesday, “I ask my 500,000 followers to join with all people of good conscience to boycott @MTV and its sponsors until #racist Ira Madison is fired.”

In a statement to TheWrap, an MTV News spokesperson said, “”The opinions Ira expresses on Twitter are his own and do not reflect the views of MTV News.”

According to the National Review‘s Michelle Malkin, the child is Sessions’ granddaughter, one of four from his daughter Ruth’s marriage to Asian-American John Walk.

Woods continued to hold MTV’s feet to the social-media fire on Wednesday, writing, “Of course the coward at @MTV deleted his #racist tweet, but here it is. Where are you, @MTV?”

The actor added, “POS @MTV #racist mocks Asian toddler as a ‘toy.’ Will @MTV fire the scum for his hate speech? #HateSpeech #RacistLiberal.”
