Comedian Turns the Tables on Jesse Watters by Pitching Racist Segment Ideas (Video)

“Undecided” star Jason Selvig thinks the Fox News correspondent should follow up his Chinatown hit with “Mexicans just eating tacos”

Comedian Jason Selvig found a creative way to promote his new Netflix mockumentary “Undecided” when he approached Fox News’ Jesse Watters on the streets of New York, and gave him a taste of his own medicine.

In light of Watters’ disastrous Chinatown segment, which many viewers considered offensive and racist, Selvig pitched the “O’Reilly Factor” correspondent a slew of more ideas for terrible segments, including gems such as “a bunch of black people eating fried chicken” and “Mexicans just eating tacos.” The video even had movie clips intertwined throughout, just like the “Watters World” segments on Fox News.

Watters seemed amused until Selvig told Watters a particular joke was “racist, like you like.”

Fox News’ popular man-on-the-street “Waters World” segments feature Watters seeking out people who don’t necessarily understand political or current events and playfully poking fun at their responses to obvious questions. The segment began as a re-occurring bit on “The O’Reilly Factor” but “Watters World” now has various standalone specials.

Watters has faced criticism for a recent segment in which he descended on Chinatown to get residents’ thoughts on the election. Critics have said the bit was filled with Asian stereotypes. Watters, a Bill O’Reilly protege, issued an apology on Twitter in response to the backlash.

“Undecided” is currently streaming on Netflix. The comedy features Selvig as one of two idiotic undecided voters cast in a reality show chronicling their journey to pick a candidate in the primary. Much like “Borat,” the movie intertwines scripted gags with real pranks on people and nearly every presidential candidate, including Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and Marco Rubio.
