Julianne Moore has proven she can act countless times, including with her Oscar-winning “Still Alice” performance, but can she lie better than Jimmy Fallon?
“Tonight Show” viewers found out on Tuesday when the actress went head-to-head with Fallon in a game of Box of Lies.
“Each player selects a box out of view of the other person,” Fallon explained. “You show it to the audience then look at your opponent and tell them what’s in your box … you might be lying, you might be telling the truth.”
A squeaky-voiced Moore slipped easily into the role of liar when she faked out Fallon with her description of a “super soft garbage can with Oscar the Grouch,” which happened to be wearing a Donald Trump “Make America Great Again” hat.
Fallon then fooled Moore into believing that “a naked Justin Bieber doll in rollerblades” was actually a book made out of macaroni.
But even he was surprised when the “Map to the Stars” actress pulled out a photo of the pair of them taken earlier in the show.
“The Tonight Show” airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
