Kathy Page Named VP Production at Hasbro Studios

Animation veteran will help launch toy company’s television network

Hasbro Studios has named Kathy Page vice president of production. The toy company has begun to venture into original programming, making the animation veteran a natural fit for Hasbro’s entertainment arm.

Page will oversee physical production of programming produced by the studios, much of which will be seen on The Hub, the new television network launching this fall as a joint venture between Hasbro and Discovery Communications

Page joins Hasbro from Sony Pictures Television where, as vice president of animation since 2007, she led the television animation production division, overseeing production on such series as "The Spectacular Spiderman" and "Sit Down, Shut Up."

Previously, Page spent more than a decade working in a variety of production roles for, among others, Warner Bros. Television Animation and Film Roman.
