Kevin Dillon Becomes a ‘Gentleman’ for CBS

Former “Entourage” actor will work for laughs in new network offering

Kevin Dillon is moving on from playing a man nicknamed "Drama" to a comedy role.

CBS confirmed to The Wrap that "Entourage" actor Kevin Dillon has signed on to star as Bert in its upcoming male-buddy comedy "How to Be a Gentleman," based on the book of the same name.

The pilot, which follows an oddball friendship between a straitlaced columnist and his less cultured pal/trainer, will also star "Kids in the Hall" and "NewsRadio" alum Dave Foley, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actor David Hornsby (who also wrote the script and is co-producing) and Nancy Lenehan ("The New Adventures of Old Christine").

Adam Chase, who served as executive producer on "Friends" and consulting producer on "Sons of Tuscon," will share producing credits with Hornsby, Ted Schachter and Pam Fryman.

"Entourage" is scheduled to end its run on HBO this summer.
