Kimmel Taping in Brooklyn Tonight After Sandy Cancellation Monday

Kimmel goes forward after taking precautions Monday

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" will tape in Brooklyn, N.Y. as previously planned tonight after Monday's taping was delayed because of Hurricane Sandy.

The ABC show usually tapes in Hollywood. But the show had the bad fortune to choose this week as the one when it went on the road to tape a week of episodes in Brooklyn.

The New York-based "The Daily Show" and "Colbert Report" also cancelled tapings Monday. "The Late Show With David Letterman" and "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" taped without a live audience Monday.

There was no word yet on whether "The Daily Show" and "Colbert" would resume Tuesday.

Kimmel's guests tonight will include Howard Stern, Tracy Morgan, and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings.

Later this week, his guests are scheduled to include several of his fellow late night hosts, including Letterman, Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert.

There's a good chance they'll talk about the weather — and that for once, that will be a pretty interesting conversation.
