Bruce Douglas Paddock, brother of Las Vegas mass shooter Stephen Paddock, was arrested in North Hollywood on Wednesday on 20 counts of possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a child.

The 59-year-old was arrested at a nursing home, where he was found after police discovered more than 600 images of child pornography which had been in his possession, according to the Los Angeles Times. The images were found after he was evicted from a Sun Valley auto shop where he had previously been squatting.

Paddock was booked and is being held at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Metropolitan Detention Center, with bail set at $60,000.

LAPD released a photo of Paddock on Wednesday “in case there may be victims of unreported incidents and they are asking for the public’s assistance in locating them.”

Hector Cruz, the owner of the Sun Valley auto shop, told KTLA that Paddock, a longtime friend, holed up in the shop’s attic after asking Cruz to fix his car. After Paddock threatened to burn down the building, employees ran him off and obtained a restraining order, fearing that he would return. “He told me he was going to kill me,” Cruz told the station.

Earlier this month, Paddock’s brother, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, opened fire on a crowd of 22,000 people from a room at the Mandalay Bay hotel on Sunday, leaving dozens dead and hundreds injured in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
