Lindsay Lohan is set to star in a new British sitcom titled “Sick Note” alongside “Harry Potter” star Rupert Grint and “Paul” actor Nick Frost.

Sky 1 announced the casting of the series, which is currently shooting in the United Kingdom, on its website Monday. The actress also took to Instagram to share a picture from set in which she sports a bob. She captioned the photo, “Back on set of my new TV show #SickNote.”

“Sick Note” follows the story of Daniel Glass (Grint), a compulsive liar stuck in a failing relationship and a dead-end insurance job. Daniel is then wrongly diagnosed with a terminal illness by his incompetent doctor (Frost). Instead of fixing the mistake, the doctor convinces Daniel to hide the truth from his colleagues, friends and family.

Lohan will play the daughter of Daniel’s boss in the show’s second season.

The first season of “Sick Note” will air on Sky 1 and TV streaming service NOW TV this fall. Other shows in the fall lineup include “Bliss,” starring Stephen Mangan and Heather Graham, and “Bounty Hunters,” from Jack Whitehall and Freddy Syborn.

“We are thrilled to be making a second series of this nail-biting comedy and very excited to be welcoming the extraordinary talents of Lindsay Lohan to our all-star cast,” executive producer Jo Sargent commented. The show is created and written by Nat Saunders and James Serafinowicz and directed by the BAFTA-winning Matt Lipsey (“Little Britain”).
