LL Cool J to Be First Grammy Host in 7 Years

‘NCIS: LA’ star to host ceremony on CBS

Okay, you can call it a comeback: LL Cool J will host the 54th annual Grammy Awards.

It's not a comeback to Cool J, of course: The two-time Grammy winner stars on CBS's highly rated "NCIS: LA." But it's a return to the notion of having a host. He'll be the first for the ceremony in seven years.
