‘Looper’ Trailer: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and a Whole Lot of Déjà Vu

Joseph Gordon-Levitt faces off with his future self, Bruce Willis, in director Rian Johnson's "Looper"

Director Rian Johnson stirs up a whirlwind of déjà vu in his upcoming action-adventure-thriller "Looper."

Set in the year 2042, "Looper" follows mob hitman Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) on his journey to assasinate targets sent to him from the year 2072 via time travel. The twist? Joe has to take out his future self, Older Joe (Bruce Willis).

The not-so-uncanny resemblance between the leads, and Gordon-Levitt's almost unrecognizable appearance, might be a little unsettling, but fear not — big-time drama, death-defying action and a dose of British sweetheart Emily Blunt follows suit.

The question now is whether Joe will make good on his claim that "the only rule is never let your target escape, even if the target is you."

Check out the trailer below for a taste, and see the film Sept. 28 to find out.
