Madonna slammed Donald Trump’s sons for killing a leopard while endorsing Hillary Clinton on Instagram Thursday.
“How Big of [a] Pussy Do you have to BE to kill this Noble Animal for sport? Just ask Donald Trump Jr and his brother Eric. One more reason to vote for Hilary!” she wrote on a picture featuring the two men and a dead wild leopard.
According to Gothamist, the hunting trip took place in 2011, which caused an uproar among animal rights activists as the family posed with a dead elephant, kudu, civet cat and waterbuck.
Responding to the criticism on Twitter in 2012, Trump Jr. said, “I’m not going to run and hide because the peta crazies don’t like me,” insisting that “the meat was used to feed hungry villagers.”
A video of the entire family on their hunting trip was created, showing photos including one of Trump Jr. holding the severed tail of a dead elephant.
According to The Guardian, Trump has defended his sons’ hunting hobby in the past.
“My sons love to hunt,” he said. “They are members of the NRA [National Rifle Association], very proudly. I am a big believer in the second amendment. But my sons are hunters, Eric is a hunter and I would say he puts it on a par with golf, if not ahead of golf. They’re great marksman [sic], great shots, they love it.”
