First ‘Manhattan’ Season 2 Trailer Teases Neve Campbell Recurring Role (Video)

WGN America show returns on Oct. 13

In the first trailer for season two of “Manhattan,” we get our first look at Neve Campbell as Kitty Oppenheimer, the wife of atomic scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer.

The trailer for the Emmy-nominated WGN America show also offers clues into what may have happened to Frank Winter (John Benjamin Hickey) after viewers were left hanging at the end of season one.

It also includes the first footage of “CSI” star William Petersen as Col. Emmett Darrow, the new ranking military officer at Los Alamos.

Created by Sam Shaw (“Masters of Sex”) and directed by Emmy Award-winning director Thomas Schlamme (“The West Wing”), the all-new season of “Manhattan” will once again take viewers inside the world of Los Alamos, where American scientists labored in secret to create the atomic bomb.

Shaw, Schlamme, and Dustin Thomason serve as executive producers on the show. Lionsgate Television, Shoe Money Productions, Skydance Productions, and Tribune Studios produce.

Season two of “Manhattan” will premiere Oct. 13 on WGN America.
