Fans will soon get to peek behind the curtain in “Mariah’s World.”
Pop diva Mariah Carey has gotten a Dec. 4 premiere date in North America for the eight-part docu-series, which takes a look at her private life and family relationships.
Premieres in 153 additional countries will follow on E!’s 15 international networks, the company wrote in a statement.
“Mariah’s World” covers Carey’s preparations for her “Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour,” which started in March and includes 33 shows before concluding in November. That tour has included a number of Carey tunes fans haven’t heard her perform live in years, if ever.
The series also contains details of her wedding preparations to billionaire James Packer, although published reports this summer have said the ceremony has been put on hold indefinitely.
Carey also resumes her Caesars Palace residency in Las Vegas later this summer.
Carey is the best-selling female recording artist of all time, with 220 million records sold and 18 No. 1 singles.
