Mariah Carey Wooed by ‘Empire’ Star Jussie Smollett, Tyson Beckford in Brett Ratner-Directed ‘Infinity’ Video

The diva drops video for her newest track on Twitter at midnight Monday

Mariah Carey released the video for her latest song “Infinity” on Twitter at midnight Monday following fanfare from its star, “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett.

“Watch Queen @MariahCarey looking like a creamsicle & sounding like Butta! Oh…& I’m in it 2,” Smollett, who plays Jamal Lyon on the Fox hit, tweeted on Monday night.

Before the full video was released, Carey posted a behind the scenes teaser on Instagram telling fans: “Welcome to my video, ‘Infinity,’ and guess who’s in it,” before cozying up with Smollett and her one of her many dogs.

Wearing glasses and a bow tie, the actor plays an adorable geek wooing the diva with a little white puppy. Meanwhile, model Tyson Beckford — also wearing a bow tie and very little else — heats things up with his six-pack abs and a bouquet of roses.

After being charmed by a string of suitors who she met on dating app Match, it’s revealed that a cute little canine and a hot convertible are the keys to Carey’s heart.

The video was directed by “Rush Hour” director Brett Ratner, who is friends with Mariah.

The latest song from the pop diva is considered to be her break-up anthem following her volatile separation from husband Nick Cannon. While no names are mentioned, it is a pretty good guess that the man who is “broke and alone” is the rapper and “America’s Got Talent” host.

“Why you mad, talkin’ ’bout you’re mad. Could it be that you just lost the best you’ve ever had?” Carey sings, before questioning her subject’s fame. “Boy you actin’ so corny like Fritos. Wouldn’t have none of that without me, though.”

The song is featured on the singer’s greatest hits album, “Mariah Carey #1 to Infinity,” which sold 15,000 copies when it was released late last month.

Cannon and Carey tied the knot in 2008. He filed divorce papers in December 2014 after six years of marriage.
