“Rock of Ages” actor Diego Boneta has been cast in the upcoming CBS miniseries “The Dovekeepers,” from executive producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey.
Boneta, who also appears in the upcoming big-screen soccer biopic “Pele,” will play a character named Amram in the series.

The actor’s television credits include “Underemployed” and “90210.”
The four-hour miniseries is based on Alice Hoffman’s historical novel about four extraordinary women whose lives intersect in a fight for survival at the siege of Masada. “NCIS” alum Cote de Pablo is also cast in the miniseries as Shirah, one of the four women.
