Mark Wahlberg’s A&E Show ‘Breaking Boston’ Yanked After 1 Episode

Series about working-class women facing difficult odds got a tough break

Mark Wahlberg‘s relationship with A&E had its ups and downs this week.

“Breaking Boston,” the docudrama executive produced by the actor, has been pulled from the network after just one episode.

This happens the same week as Wahlberg’s other reality show, “Wahlburgers,” finished its season run with robust ratings

“Boston,” about working-class women who come of age with the odds against them, premiered March 13 and was intended to have a six-episode run. It is unclear whether the remaining episodes of the series will be aired at a future time.

The premiere episode drew 311,000 total viewers.
