Billie Eilish, Luke Combs and Leon Bridges Read the Best Burns on Jimmy Kimmel’s New Music ‘Mean Tweets’ (Video)

Just in time for the CMAs

Kids can be so cruel, but not as cruel as adults on Twitter. Following last night’s CMAs on ABC, Jimmy Kimmel debuted his latest music-themed “Mean Tweets.” Billie Eilish, Luke Combs and Leon Bridges got it the worst — or the best, depending on how you look at it.

Below are our five favorites, in order of the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” segment’s chronology. Blame any spelling, grammar and punctuation on the original poster.

“Billie Eilish dresses like she got her clothes stolen at the gym so they gave her what they had in the lost ‘n’ found bin.”

“i feel like leon bridges makes music for straight white couples to dance to in their kitchens, but only if their kitchens have granite countertops and subway tile backsplashes and a teapot they bought in an art museum gift shop. anyways i still like it even tho im gay n poor.”

“What if God is really John Mayer performing Dave Mathews covers at that s**tty bar your dad likes?”

“Alice cooper looked 65 in 1972 how is he still alive.”

“Luke Combs makes music for people who taste the gas before they fill up their truck.”

There were plenty more where those came from, including a laugh at Lizzo’s expense, among others.
