“The internet’s favorite frat boy” Jimmy Tatro is making yet another jump to the big screen in the upcoming “21 Jump Street” sequel “22 Jump Street.”
Tatro, known for his extremely popular YouTube channel Life According to Jimmy, previously made his feature debut in the Adam Sandler comedy “Grown Ups 2,” which received a staggering 7 percent on Rotten Tomatoes but went on to make $130.6 million in the US box office.
Tatro’s return to the silver screen looks to be more well-recieved this time around as “22 Jump Street” is being penned by screenwriters Michael Bacall and Oren Uziel who also wrote the film’s predecessor “21 Jump Street,” which was widely praised by critics and fans. The sequel will bring back Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as two police officers and best friends, now infiltrating a college.
Currently Life According to Jimmy has over 1.7 million subscribers. Tatro is signed with YouTube multi-channel network Big Frame and Hollywood agency United Talent Agency and is repped by Sarah Penna and Steve Cohen, respectively.
