Gayle Gilman has been named executive vice president of digital content at FremantleMedia North America. Gilman will oversee original digital content at Fremantle including The Pet Collective, which earlier this year inked a first run distribution deal with Blip.
While at Fremantle, Gilman will help create original content and be responsible for maintaining digital distribution strategies. She will work in tandem with the company’s Digital and Branded Entertainment Division headed by CEO Keith Hindle who has been with Fremantle since 2000.
Gilman previously operated Original Productions’ digital media strategy and helped develop branded and original content. Additionally, Gilman operated as co-executive producer for the Emmy-nominated “Ice Road Truckers” and “America’s Lost Treasures.”
