Netflix’s Q3 financial results will be publicly available around 4:05pm ET on Monday, October 21. As it did with the Q2 results, Netflix will host a live-video discussion (really just a Google+ Hangout) featuring company CEO Reed Hastings, CFO David Wells, and CCO Ted Sarandos. The interview, which will begin at 5pm ET on the 21st, will be moderated/hosted by JP Morgan’s Doug Anmuth (replacing CNBC’s Julia Boorstin) and BTIG Research’s Rich Greenfield (returning). The discussion will be available live and on-demand via Netflix’s Investor Relations YouTube channel.
It’s been a good third quarter of Netflix, which not only won its first ever Primetime Emmy a week ago but has also recently been making deals with international cable operators to show up alongside linear premium channels in the UK and Sweden. The streaming service has also recently received a lot of credit from “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan and the press for turning around the AMC drama’s fortunes back when the show was not receiving the type of viewership it ended with. It’ll be interesting, as always, to see where the company’s subscriber numbers are, though you shouldn’t expect too much of a change from the end of Q2.
