Life is good for iPhone and iPad users. While the Windows Phone YouTube app runs like something a class of freshmen engineers programmed (thanks to this insane feud), the iOS 7 YouTube app continues to get better and better… and better.
While it may seem like a minor update, YouTube’s latest upgrade to its iOS app comes with one big new feature — the ability to select video quality over Wi-Fi. Previously, YouTube’s iOS app did not feature this functionality, which acts similarly to selecting video quality at the desktop site. However, as it was one of the most-requested mobile features, YouTube rolled it out today.
The new update also features enhanced compatibility with the recently released iOS 7.
It may be a small update, but it’s a heck of a lot more than what Lumia owners are getting right now.
