Made Men, the men’s lifestyle site owned and operated by the newly formed Defy Media, is partnering with Movember for the third year in a row on a digital campaign tied to the charity’s flagship “Movember” initiative. Beginning today, and running through November, Made Men will roll out a series of themed videos and editorial and social content for the men’s health charity.
The first video from the campaign is a sequel of sorts to a couple of videos Made Men did with “Parks & Recreation” star Nick Offerman last year. Those videos, titled “How to Grow a Moustache with Nick Offerman” and “Your Mo Will Get Fuller,” were aimed at driving registrations for Movember, which fights prostate and testicular cancer, and collectively amassed more than 2.2 million views on YouTube. This year’s video, “Great Moments in Moustache History,” will look to do the same.
A second video, also starring Offerman, will launch in mid-November.
The campaign includes a social initiative encouraging fans to “share a #ManlyMoment” on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Vine. Made Man will donate $1 for every submission.
