Online video syndication and ad network NDN has named Jason Jedlinski as its new senior vice president of marketplace development. Reporting to NDN COO Eric Orme, Jedlinski will oversee publisher relationships, content distribution, product management, and business development at his new company.
“I’m thrilled to join NDN and expand its partner relationships: helping content creators and distributors remain profitable and relevant in an increasingly fragmented digital universe,” said Jedlinski in a statement.
NDN’s syndication network encompasses more than 4,500 publishers across news, finance, travel, entertainment, and sports. The company consistently shows up in comScore’s top 10 monthly video rankings when determined by monthly uniques; in September, NDN slotted in at #5 with more than 49 million uniques. The company’s network was second only to Google/YouTube (among the comScore top 10) in terms of time spent, with an average of 78.6 minutes per viewer during the month.
Prior to joining NDN, Jedlinski was VP of digital operations at Tribune Broadcasting — an NDN customer. NDN’s Digital Media Exchange is said to have been the “foundation” for the video syndication and licensing business Jedlinski built at Tribune last year.
