NDN, a comScore-ranked top 5 online video distributor in the US, has named John Vilade as its new executive vice president of ad sales. Reporting to NDN CEO Greg Peters, Vilade will be responsible for cross-platform video ad strategies and revenue growth. He will be based in NDN’s NY office.
Vilade comes to NDN from Hulu, where he was VP of national ad sales, focusing on the Eastern and Central Regions. During his four years at Hulu, Vilade managed a 50-person ad-sales team based in NY, Chicago, and Detroit. Prior to Hulu, Vilade held ad-sales executive positions at Discovery Networks and NBCUniversal.
“John’s relationships and experience with the most valuable brands in our industry are a perfect match for NDN’s premium online media partners,” said Peters in a statement. “He will be a tremendous asset to NDN’s leadership team during this time of rapid growth in the industry.”
