Pixability, a Boston-based YouTube video ad and marketing services provider, is looking to expand in North America. The company has opened new offices in New York and Los Angeles in an effort to meet what it says are the growing needs for brands and agencies in those regions. Though it has staff already set up in both offices, Pixability says it’s still recruiting and plans to make additional hires for both coasts.
Pixability is one of several companies to be certified by YouTube in the area of audience growth. Others include multi-channel networks like Big Frame, Collective Digital Studios, and Fullscreen, as well as tech providers like FanBridge and Tubular — though Pixability is the only one designated on the list as a “YouTube marketing software” company. Pixability’s services include channel and video SEO, content management, interactive advertising, and e-commerce.
Since being founded in 2008, the company says it’s worked with more than 500 clients spanning 10,000 channels and 2.5 million videos. In April it raised $4.1 million as part of a planned Series B round.
