Netflix was not completely shut out at the Golden Globes, which took place tonight or last night depending on when you’re reading this.
Netflix was nominated six times across five different categories, including four for the political drama “House of Cards,” and one each for the prison comedy “Orange Is the New Black” and the resurrected “Arrested Development.” The company walked away with one trophy when Robin Wright won for Best Actress — Drama for her portrayal as Claire Underwood in “House of Cards.”
This will be the last win for Netflix at a major awards show during the 2013–2014 awards season. It also won three Emmys, one at the Primetime Emmys in recognition of David Fincher’s directing work during the first season, and two at the Creative Arts Emmys.
