Tiësto, one of the (if not the) most popular EDM musicians on the planet, is Base79’s newest high-profile channel partner.
Per the deal, Base79 will now manage Tiësto’s YouTube channel, which currently sports more than 1.2 million subscribers, and the channel for the DJ’s record label, Musical Freedom (155,000+ subscribers). As part of the agreement, Base79 will be responsible for helping build the audience for both channels, as well as performing rights-management operations and selling ads and sponsorships for Tiësto’s content on the platform.
Tiësto’s main YouTube channel is the site of the DJ’s multi-season web series, “In the Booth,” which he executive produces in partnership with Believe Entertainment Group and the company’s co-founders Bill Masterson and Dan Goodman. The show finished its second season a month ago.
