Time Inc. has named M. Scott Havens as its new senior vice president of digital. Havens is tasked with managing all digital operations for Time Inc. properties including People, Time, Time for Kids, Sports Illustrated, SI for Kids, Entertainment Weekly, and Fortune.
Part of Havens’ responsibilities will include continuing to build out Time Inc.’s video offerings, which include the recently announced 120 Sports video network.
Most recently, Havens was president at The Atlantic, where he oversaw the publication’s print and digital teams. He had joined Atlantic Media as VP of digital strategy and operations, and is credited in helping the company push more into digital.
Havens starts at Time Inc. on March 31, and will report to the company’s EVP Todd Larsen.
