Lifestyle brand Veria Living has launched “Health Soup,” a new 70-episode web series focused on various aspects of health and wellness.
Produced by Veria Living and Two Rivers Pictures, “Health Soup” will debut new episodes every Monday. The series consists of several recurring themed segments, including “Veria on the Street,” in which comedian David Price asks New York pedestrians outrageous health-related questions, and “Wellness Virgin,” where Price tackles “unconventional types of wellness” like acupuncture.
Other shows include “Need to Know” and “Well Aware,” in which host Ereka Vetrini (“The Apprentice”) explores the latest health-and-wellness crazes. “United States of Yoga,” hosted by New York Giants yoga coach and fitness instructor Gwen Lawrence, tackles every type of yoga imaginable.
“Health Soup,” which went into production last October, is part of Veria Living’s push into original video content made for the web. The show originally started with four “pilot” episodes, which aired on Veria.com last spring. Their success on the site resulted in Veria picking up the show for 70 episodes.
