Berlin-based YouTube MCN Divimove is employing a new trailer-based marketing strategy to highlight creators across its network. Each week over the next few weeks, Divimove says it will release “country trailers” on its own YouTube channel, the goal being to highlight interesting and popular creators from those markets.
The initiative begins with a trailer for German creators, with similar treatments for creators in Holland, Italy, Spain, and Poland to publish in the coming weeks.
In the German trailer, channels spanning genres like let’s play gaming videos, beauty channels, and rap music are represented, with music coming from a networked channel as well.
This decision also helps Divimove, says Divimove, as it’s able to highlight the expanse of its YouTube network, which it says spans more than 1,300 content partners and over 280 million views per month.
