YouTube comedy network Jash will distribute a new Canadian comedy series, “The Amazing Gayl Pile,” from LaRue Entertainment.
The show, headlined by Morgan Waters as the titular Gayl Pile, follows the dysfunctional cast and crew of a home-shopping network. In doing so, the show exposes the “rampant sex, violence, and spiritual corruption” that regularly takes place behind the scenes in the world of home shopping, said series co-creator Brooks Gray.
Created by Waters and Gray (who also appears in the show), “The Amazing Gayl Pile” will be non-exclusively distributed by Jash via its comedy channel Buh. The series spans 10, seven-minute episodes.
It was financed and produced by LaRue via a partnership with the Independent Production Fund and Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit.
As you know by now, Jash is the YouTube comedy network formed by Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim and Eric, and Reggie Watts.
