Animal Planet Live, the network of always-on live animal cams from the Discovery-owned TV channel, has added two new streams meant to signal the arrival of spring. Starting today, you can check out the new Bunny Cam and Hedgehog Cam to your heart’s content.
The Bunny Cam comes via a partnership with the House Rabbit Society, an international rabbit protection organization, and is meant to spread awareness for rabbit abandonment.
Meanwhile the Hedgehog Cam spotlights Peanut, a two-year-old critter who resides at Tru Chance Rescue & Rehab, a hedgehog rescue facility in Maryland.
You might be thinking: Who spends time watching a live stream of a bunch of animals? If you are, you clearly don’t know the internet. Since launching exactly a year ago, Animal Planet has expanded APL has grown from 11 feeds to 24, and generated nearly 16 million views and more than 2 million viewing hours in that timeframe.
Aside from the web, APL can also be accessed via apps for Roku, Samsung connected devices, and Xbox.
