Hide your chickens: Here’s a new trailer for the second season of “Orange Is the New Black,” the critically acclaimed Netflix dramedy from creator and executive producer Jenji Kohan (“Weeds”).
The series, whose eclectic cast includes Taylor Schilling, Jason Biggs, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Taryn Manning, Laverne Cox, Yael Stone, recently received a Peabody Award, and was nominated by the Golden Globes in the comedy category. (It will compete as a comedy at this year’s Emmy Awards.)
Season two begins on Friday, June 6, with 13 all-new hour-long episodes. If the first season (check out our review) and the above trailer aren’t enough for you, here’s a video of the cast previewing the upcoming season.
The series is produced by Lionsgate Television for Netflix, and will be available in all territories the streaming service is available in.
