If you’re unable to attend Lollapalooza, the big music festival that takes place in Chicago every summer, fret not, it will be live-streamed online.
Red Bull Media House has partnered with C3 Presents to stream the entire festival on Red Bull TV, Red Bull’s iOS and Android apps, and Lollapalooza.com. Three channels will be made available to at-home viewers: Two that stream various performances from the festival’s five main stages, and one that will offer exclusive artist interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and festival highlights.
Lollapalooza takes place from Grant Park on August 1–3. This year’s lineup includes Outkast, Eminem, Skrillex, Kings of Leon, and a bevy of other artists that the kids listen to these days.
Festival streaming is becoming a common practice within the online video space. Earlier this month, YouTube partnered with AXS TV and the organizers of Coachella to live stream the festival across two weekends.
