Playwire announced today that it’s bringing David Jacobs, an online advertising industry vet, to their board of directors. Jacobs’s new position will entail supporting Playwire’s growth with other board member powerhouses like Dale Strang, CEO of SpinMedia and Bruce Gellar, CEO of DGHM.
Jacobs currently works as the senior VP of publisher sales and business development at AOL Networks. He’s played a significant role in growth of AOL Advertising’s Advertising.com and ADTECH sector. An avid participant in the industry, Jacobs makes a point of speaking at industry events and joining in at trade organizations. “Thrilled” to become a part of the video hosting platform’s board, Jacobs will be sure to contribute via knowledge and experience in the industry.
