Digital video network and production studio Ora.TV has inked a development deal with William Shatner.
Additionally, Shatner and Ora.TV will develop and produce new original content based on his “varied interests.”
“Brown Bag Wine Tasting” follows Shatner as he meets new participants and invites them to blindly taste a bottle of wine. The show was created by the veteran actor, who also executive produces alongside Scott Sternberg. With the show moving to Ora.TV, Allison Glader and Jason Rovou will join Shatner and Sternberg as executive producers.
The actor joins other traditional-media personalities to make shows for/with Ora.TV, including broadcasting legend Larry King (“Larry King Now”) and Jesse Ventura (“Off the Grid”).
Shatner’s deal with Ora.TV was brokered by the actor’s long-time manager Larry Thompson and Ora.TV CEO Jon Housman.
