As the much beloved HBO series “True Blood” comes to an end with season seven, Xbox will once again open its video-playing services to fans of the vampire-ridden show. Since the season premiered on June 22, Xbox 360 and Xbox One users will be able to watch the first episode on the gaming console.
From June 24 to June 26, first episode of the final season of “True Blood” will be available on Xbox for HBO subscribers and non-subscribers alike. This will give Xbox users a chance to get hooked with the initial episode before it’s removed from the gaming console, after which it will migrate back to its place on HBO at 9pm on Sundays.
“True Blood” will also appear on HBO Go, with the final season’s premiere showing on a number of online portals in the US. This season brings on the added difficulty of infected vampires in a world where the superhuman creatures dwell on the same plane as their human counterparts.
Anna Pacquin stars as the main character, Sookie Stackhouse, along with Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard as vampires. Charlaine Harris’s popular Sookie Stackhouse novels inspired the series created by Alan Ball.
