This is a busy day for Apple TV. In addition to taking on the ABC News video app, the streaming hub now also includes AOL’s video content.
This means that viewers can watch a selection of over 900,000 videos from AOL and its partners on demand. Such partners comprise ESPN, Discovery, Hallmark, and others.
AOL’s full slate of originals will feature on Apple TV as a result, as well. The shows announced at this year’s NewFronts now accessible on the streaming hub feature celebrities like James Franco (“Making a Scene with James Franco”), Zoe Saldana (“My Hero”), Steve Buscemi (“Park Bench”), and even Nicole Richie (“#CandidlyNicole”).
Apple TV is not the first streaming service to connect with AOL. AOL has also made its content available on Roku, Xbox 360, and Amazon Fire TV, alongside 15 other services.
