Season three of “In the Booth” premieres today on YouTube on famous DJ/producer Tiësto’s channel. The series is back, comprising seven new episodes, each seven minutes long. This season, Tiësto will not only explore his dance music past and present, but he will also mentor three, rising artists.
The artists Tiësto will mentor include Danny Àvila, The Disco Fries, and Dzeko & Torres. Deemed “Bubbling Up DJs” (also the name of the season’s second episode), these new artists will explain their start in the dance music movement and what they hope to achieve in working with the already famous Tiësto.
“There will be plenty of surprises this season,” Tiësto said in a statement. “Not only will my fans see me as an artist, producer, and DJ, but also a mentor. I love working with other DJs and now I’m bringing them in to be a big part of my show.”
Popular amongst a millennial audience, the previous two seasons of “In the Booth” got tens of millions of views around the world. Believe Entertainment Group financed, produced, sold, and distributed the documentary-style series.
“In the Booth” counts William H. Masterson III and Dan Goodman as co-executive producers alongside Tiësto (the two are also co-founders of Believe Entertainment Group). The show’s anchor partner, 7UP, shows its branding in the “bubbling up” aspect of the rising artists Tiësto mentors throughout the season.
Tiësto opened for the 2004 Olympic Games, also boasting some Grammy nominations and “The Greatest DJ of All Time” title by Mixmag.
