Crackle will debut “Sequestered,” a new original series from creator Aaron Tracy, on Tuesday, August 5.
Described as a “sophisticated, intense thriller,” the series follows a jury sequestered in a hotel while deliberating a high-profile kidnapping-and-murder case.
The cast includes Jesse Bradford (“Bring It On”) as the defense attorney who uncovers a major conspiracy behind the case, Summer Glau (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) as a juror who’s torn between her beliefs and the safety of her family, and Patrick Warburton (“Rules of Engagement”) as a state governor whose son was allegedly murdered by the defendant.
Directed by Shawn Ku (“Beautiful Boy”) and Kevin Tancharoen (“Mortal Kombat: Legacy”), “Sequestered” will run for 12 episodes on Crackle. The first six episodes will go live on August 5, following by six more on October 14.
“Sequestered” is produced by Lifeboat Productions. The show was first announced by Crackle during the company’s Digital Content NewFront in April.
