Mainak Mazumdar has been named chief science officer at Simulmedia, a new role at the company. The ad-tech company takes on Masumdar to manage its data science team, which measures analytics and helps distinguish between the company’s different products.
Mazumdar’s prior positions include chief strategy officer at GfK, head of the Center of Innovation at Nielsen, and manager of media and advertising research at Google.
“Mainak is one of the top scientists and executives in the digital media research and analytics industry,” Dave Morgan, CEO of Simulmedia, stated. “Trained in media and advertising research, he has held leadership positions that have helped define digital and TV decision making.”
