First it was Crackle and Jerry Seinfeld with “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” now Comedy Central and Nikki Glaser are attempting “Comedians Crashing Couches.”
The new series, produced by the network’s digital division CC:Studios, will follow Glaser as she moves in with a bunch of “social-media savvy millennials” and reports back on her experience. Along the way, she will try her hand at things like “haul videos” and recording her own raps.
Spanning eight total episodes, Comedy Central is premiering “Comedians Crashing Couches” today on CC.com and its YouTube channel. Each episode will be accompanied by confessional-style vlogs from both Glaser and the people she’s living with. These will be posted to CC.com and YouTube, as well as Comedy Central accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram.
The series was written by Emmy Blotnick and directed by Nick Goossen. AT&T is on board as its exclusive sponsor.
